If you buy a "Duo" pack - do you put the gel on your fingers or toes?

I recently went to a Nail Supply store and was amazed at the selection of polish.

DND (and a few others) offer "Duo" packages with a bottle of Gel and regular polish in the same color packaged together for one low price. I asked the clerk and she said some "women" like to put gel on their fingers and regular polish on their toes.

I never knew that was a thing because I always went to the salon up to that point and it was gel all around.

Do any of you guys use these "Duo" packs and which do you put the gel on - fingers or toes?
