i am moving from apathy to desperation and vice versa i am scared

i sometimes feel extremly desperate for women's attention but sometimes is more apathy, like life has no sense, this changes sometimes, is this normal? i am starting to think i am crazy i just want mental stability and someone to hug, am i asking too much?
