It’s been a year since moving into my space and I absolutely love where it’s at!
I often get compliments on the space and then go into all the stories I have of finding a lot of my pieces at estate sales, thrift stores, and antique malls.
The most insane finds that I absolutely love are the two original Noguchi lamps that I got for STEALS, the tension pole lamp I won via an auction, and the signed issey miyake poster. Still riding the highs of finding these lol
All the art is signed and dated and each is different from the last. They’re also all by local artists, include the large canvas painting too.
Still have some walls to finish, few more plants to get, and couple more rugs to fit the space but overall happy.
Most everything I have was second hand, including the kitchen stuff ($10 le creuset Dutch oven, restored vintage cast iron, restored air fryer), and all has a story of finding them, even the kitchen table and Gus chairs lol. You can find amazing things for inexpensive prices that have history and stories and the journey just makes it so much better.
Cheers!
