All my life, I have lived in rented places and usually pre-furnished places decorated by women, but I just bought a place.
I am very impatient and I get restless with perfectionism, and I worry I won’t be able to do anything good with it. I am pretty sure I am on the spectrum and get meltdowns and get easily overwhelmed.
Am thinking of hiring a professional decorator.
I don’t know. Starting over scares me and I have to move in a couple of weeks, and I haven’t even started to pack yet.
I want to understand the psychology of you successful decorators. How do you think? How do you reframe the problem as a positive opportunity?
I want to understand the psychology of having a male living space that doesn’t look like … male surviving space.
Definitely some self-esteem issues here.
I want to understand how you guys start over without crawling into fetal position and just giving up every 15 mins.
Help me.
