Hey all,
We know that applying hot water directly on the scrotum is a bad idea. It does affect the sperm quality and quantity up to 3 months until recovery if I’m right? I think that it might be called testicular hyperthermia or heat stress.
In rare cases and even long term overheating, can it cause azoospermia? I’ve seen a few journals on google that experiment on mice showed atrophy and other issues.
Has anyone dealt with the testicular atrophy as a result of overheating exposure and managed to reverse it? Is there any treatment for it? From my understanding, overheating damages the various cells in the testes but is this irreversible and permanent?
Thank you.
