Live in NYC. Need to cut hair myself

No barbers open for the foreseeable future. I get a tape-up at the barber, usually weekly. Now it's been a while and I gotta at least shave the sides and back. I obviously am not going to try a tape-up or blend etc on myself... Thinking I'll just buzz the sides and back with a #1.....any tips? Or advice lol... Never cut my own hair in my life. Ty
