So I was invited to hang out a few night ago by a friend of mine. It was last minute so even though I generally dislike these random invites, at least I was glad that I had finished all my errands and was just chillin at home. Me being the procrastinator, I couldn't pick out an outfit til the last minute.

I grabbed a white oxford, some blue lululemon shorts and some sperrys thrown into my rucksack to take. My friend picked me up and told him that I was gonna be changing in the back of his car, which he was cool with. Here's where it gets interesting.

The last time we hung out, this friend voluntarily started to rub my soles because I had complained that I had overworked myself on the seated calf raise machine. He is a trainer/physical therapist and looked at my worn out vans, signaling that maybe that's why I was in pain. I laughed and joked that I was overdue for a new pair anyways. All while he continued to do his thing. I didn't put too much focus on the act, but saw that he had dropped his phone with the camera and flash on. I did have my hat over my face and played if off like nothing, which he abruptly stopped after.

So upon changing shoes and outfit, I hopped to the front passenger seat until we arrived. Not only did I leave my beater vans but also some crew socks tucked under; as I like wearing boat shoes without socks.

We roamed the outdoor mall and restaurants until we found a spot and relaxed the whole time there. By the end of it, I knew my sperries were becoming sweaty that I was not about to take them off until I got to my room. So my friend drops me off at night and turn back to grab my backpack.

I left thanking him for the hang out and walked back inside. It's been a few days since he hit me up about other things but still hasn't mentioned anything about my shoes. I'm sure he's had to have seen them because his books and stuff were right there too.
