Try as I might, I've never had good luck finding casual or business-casual shoes that I can wear comfortably, given my apparently abnormally-wide feet.
Given enough time, my pinkies will break through the sides of even my 4E wide running shoes.
At this point, I've mostly given up and resigned myself to wearing my running shoes everywhere, because I just can't find anything better. Even a full size up in Vans, and I completely destroyed both shoes (sole separated and the rubber split straight down the side) after only ~2 months of daily wear. I've found very, very few pairs of dressier shoes that I can wear, and they still tend to chafe, even sized up, to the point where I'm taking them off after 4 hours or so or I get blisters.
Any advice on particular brands/styles that might better fit/hold up would be really appreciated.
