I'm going to my work's Christmas party tonight and need some advice on what to wear. I'm living with very limited means at the moment. Most of my wardrobe is in storage, with only a few nice things kept out for occasions like this.

I've decided to wear my corduroy blazer with some nice dark jeans and suede shoes. I just need help on what to wear under the blazer.

I personally like the vest under the blazer, but that's me. There's no dress code, and I've heard a few people say they weren't dressing up at all, which at my work means jeans and a t-shirt/sweatshirt. I figure this is a nice balance between not getting dressed up and showing up in a suit.
