I'm an undergraduate student currently and I want to invest in a good suit for myself. What I'm currently looking for is something that is versatile that can be worn during job interviews, formal events, and such. I've been doing some research in this subreddit and I think what I need is a charcoal, navy, or grey(?) suit. I still need to research on measurements and fits. Now, I live in Canada, Toronto, and I'm not exactly sure where to go and buy my first suit. I'm thinking of investing around 500-700$ in my first suit. Is this too low or too high? I went to few sites such as (GOTSTYLE and INDOCHINO) and their prices do range around there. Is this a good price for my first suit? I've seen a lot of posts where people buy cheap but nice looking suits and tailor it to their size. I'm not sure if I can do that and feels like I'll screw up if I try something like that.
