Hello /r/Malaysia friends!

Okay, a bit of a background on the scenario. Asian expat living in Cyberjaya, took a grab car to work this morning. 60-ish Chinese-Malay lady driver, dropped my wallet inside the car, contacted grab support and driver told them that she does not have wallet -- 30 mins later she calls me and says that she turned over my wallet to condo security minus the money.

Okay so that's mostly what happened. I am very convinced that the driver took the cash. Why? It is always my habit to ride on the passenger seat beside the driver (It honestly still fascinates me because we drive on the left back home). Also, if the thief has the whole intention of stealing the cash he would have taken the whole wallet with him/her. The driver would not also miss it because the wallet would just be in the vicinity of the front seat. I called the lady driver and said that I'll just file a police report and surprise surprise! She's not alarmed at all. I've escalated the issue to Grab and have yet to hear from them.

Contents of the wallet: RM600 and USD700.

Someone had a big pay day.

EDIT: Checked my debit card. She filled up her gas tank using my card. I don't have a car in Malaysia. I'll drop by the Shell in my town.

Update 1: Some ~ 3 hours ago I filed a police report at Balai Polis Cyberjaya. They'll reach out to me hopefully after the holidays and the desk office told me that this has been assigned to a specialized officer.
