Hi guys, so im not a maintenance worker but im wondering if you guys can help me out. So for some context im a front desk worker at a hotel, mind you im not a manager but management treats me like one (i.e gives me management responsibilites with out the title or pay) and Im checking a guest into a room today with the AC unit smelling like fish. Immediately when you walk into the room you get hit with a waft of a salty sent. I thought it was the fridge but it turned out ok. My co-workers and I managed to locate the source is coming from the AC. Heres the kicker though. I cant move the guest, because he specifically requested this room and we dont have much available today to move him to a separate room. I invested in some air freshners because he is only staying one night. But im just concerned if this is the right call, or if this could be a health hazard.
