My boss asked if I was able to repair tile for a shower stall that was being worked on. I didn’t understand the scope of the tile repair at the time and agreed thinking it was going to be basic tile replacement on the wall or floor. It turns out I’m going to have to figure out how to patch this before I’m able to lay the tile on. I’ve done regular drywall repair before but the base used for this wall seems to be cement and I have no place to drill a backing board. Any tips on how I should repair this? Or should I just tell my boss this one is out of my range of capability and call in a pro?
