I have spent all day at work. The time before my shift as well as every second not focused on my job has been budgeted for an attempt to help my ex who is still one of my best friends in the world feel seen, loved, and appreciated during a depressive downswing. And for my efforts, I have been told to go fuck myself.
I'm done.
After my shift ends at 9, I want to just grab a cheap bottle of hooch, empty it, and find a partner who wants to play with some of the toys I keep in a box under the bed for just such an occasion.
