Now, fellow spikes, you will have noticed that when a card refers to itself using a pronoun, 'it' is always used unless referring to a planeswalker or character who becomes a planeswalker. For example, see [[Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh]], [[Chandra, Fire Artisan]], or [[Liliana's Defeat]].
There are only two exceptions to this rule in all of magic: [[Glenn, the Voice of Calm]] and [[Michonne, Ruthless Survivor]].
Now, the more 'reasonable' among you might suggest that this was simply WoTc trying to avoid using seemingly dehumanizing grammar on a product that might be purchased by TWD fans unfamiliar with MTG and its conventions. However, this would imply the existence not only of any number of remaining TWD fans in the year 2010 11, but fans with some level of taste.
Much more plausible is the idea that these subtle clues were left in as a kind of 'future shifted' hint of SLD:TWD2. By including planeswalker versions of Glenn and Michonne in SLD:TWD2, WoTc can solve these seeming exceptions to their own rule. If they fail to release a second TWD set addressing these glaring discrepancies, the very fabric of magic lore may tear itself asunder, causing all 3 committed fans of MTG lore to quit the game entirely.
