So I want to start out with admitting that Iām not diagnosed with OCD but I do struggle with magical thinking, especially ever since I heard about the ālaw of attractionā Iāve find myself worrying that my disturbing thoughts can somehow cause real harm. So what Iāve been doing which seems to be helping somewhat is pretending to believe something that I know is false so I can help myself recognize that not all thoughts come true. For example Iāll think something like āIām two feet tallā and Iāll know that Iāll still be the same height despite having that thought. Idk if this helps anyone else but I thought I might share in case it does.
