Most discussion on Product Fatigue and Current Direction on Set Release is heavily focused on Constructed-Only Players and the issues of them having to 'Keep up with the Jones' so I'm curious how it's like on the other side of the fence.
I switched to mainly just Arena Drafting, with Explorer (Mostly stagnant non-rotating format where my Rakdos Sac deck can easily get me to Plat and above) and some Brawls (Standard even lol) on the side, and the occasional EDH when I have the time and energy to go to my LGS.
I genuinely cannot imagine how Block-Formats would have been better than what we have now, being able to bounce around multiple planes and just being able to dip out for a month or two if the set or plane seems meh (Like with Innistrad). Honestly I'm pretty happy drafting a new environment every two months, and doing the occasional flashback drafts.
Can't speak on Supplemental Sets that don't really make it to Arena, it'd be nice to draft them but organizing pods IRL is such a hassle now that at most I can really just do are Jumpstarts.
Of course there's also another discussion here on Arena making Draft Environments more solvable thanks to data but how is that anymore different from Constructed? I've seen terrible opinions on this topic outright just wishing less people played 'for the health the game' but thankfully that's not the majority.
