We all know about Vorethos and Melvin, and I consider myself mostly a Melvin, but I thought about what got me to like specific mechanics in the first place.
Blink is my favorite mechanic and the reason for that is because I really liked the art of [[Soulherder]] and wanted to build around it.
A similar thing with Thopters. I really liked the Thopter token artwork in Duel Decks Elves vs Inventors and then began to like Thopters as a tribe.
Am I the strange one or do other people get attached to decks or mechanics for their artwork?
Artwork takes up almost half a card for a reason. Donβt be so obsessed with labels. You are special in many ways, but good art is good art.
