Watching the SCG Colombus championship's finals match between Mono Green Tron and Hogaak Vengevine and all I wanted was for Tron to win. I was actually rooting for Tron to win against this new degenerate deck. That was flooding both the MC IV and SCG Colombus with some of the highest conversion and win rates on the field. We all thought with the banning of bridge the deck would slow down but a lot of pros argue the deck got even better and more streamlined with removing bridge. Now including satyr Wayfinder the deck is typically getting seven cards into the gy by turn 2 making it very likely to have Hogaak in the yard or in their hand to cast. Sure I am just another poster complaining about Hogaak rampaging on the format but again how bad are things when it has me rooting for Tron to win because seriously Fuck Tron.
