It saddens me to have to write this review after being a long time customer of Face to Face Games. I have supported this business through multiple Grand Prixs, have worn merchandise representing F2F, and have purchased many products through them.
On Monday, I received an e-mail regarding my first experience with sending cards by mail to be graded. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly the shipment had arrived, and payment was to be sent shortly. The email regarding payment being received through PayPal arrived on Tuesday morning, and by that evening, nothing had come through on my account.
With end of month and bills piling up, I called customer service to see what was going on. Apparently these emails can be sent automatically when an order is processed, and the payment should arrive within the next couple hours. After waiting another 4 hours, I called back, and was told the person responsible for sending the payment was "out sick" and would be processing the payment tomorrow.
Thursday came, and nothing had arrived by 5 p.m. Concerned, I called to follow up again. The individual responsible for sending payment had just started his shift, and would be done by 10 p.m. Nothing appeared as of Friday.
After calling today, and speaking to Will, the manager, I expressed my frustration and asked if payment could be sent as soon as possible. He processed the order and I had payment within 10 minutes. I was very happy with how quickly he handled my issue. Then I received this email later this afternoon, clearly sent to the wrong recipient:
Hey Chris,
I sent payment via PayPal for this buy order as it was completed and the guy's a special person let's say so I wanted to get it off my hands.
Best, William
This kind of treatment of a long time customer is despicable, inappropriate, and quite frankly, disgusting. After calling back to ask what Will had to say or do to correct the situation, he said "it never should have been sent" and he was "deeply sorry." I'm afraid a simple apology does not correct what has occurred with the experience I've had with not just your business, and not only your customer service, but your management.
This will be my final time dealing with Face to Face Games, and I sincerely hope that anybody reading this reconsider their dealings with this business as well. My merchandise is going in the trash.
