Do you guys bring Magic cards on vacation?

I am going on a 7-day cruise tomorrow and was considering bringing my Magic cards. The thing is I wouldn't really have anyone to play with unless someone else brought their cards as well, which I think is highly unlikely. Also there is always the risk of losing them which concerns me. Do you guys usually bring your cards on vacation "just in case," even if there is a low chance you will actually use them? Thanks.
