EDH - Am I supposed to try to win or not?
Post Body

I recently built an EDH deck to play at my LGS. I built it to win...and not in the fun way. (Esper - Chronatog, Stasis, Tutors....sorry)

I was told EDH is a casual format.

However, I've been playing at the GP level for years, and it's really hard for me to...not....try to win? I don't know. What am I supposed to do? What REALLY IS this format?

Looking for advice on how to get into this format without being "that guy".

Comments

Thanks for all of the responses. I certainly appreciate the time some of you put in them.

Based on everything I've seen, I will not be playing EDH.

Godspeed.
