Am I right for being upset about this? (draws...)
Post Body

So yesterday, I was in a PPTQ (the only Limited one within 200 miles, but that's a different story...) There were 49 players and 6 rounds, so (according to most people there, at least), 1-2 players with 2 losses should be able to make the top 8.

With me and my opponent both 2-2, our match went long for several valid reasons... and as game 3 went to time, I was in a dominant position (40 life to 3). But on my last turn, he cast Waterwhirl, thus ensuring that the match would be a draw. Neither of us thus had any chance for top 8, and there were no prizes for anyone below that... Am I right to be a little bit upset, or is it just me? If I was in the opposite position, I'd like to think that I would allow my opponent to win instead of knocking us both out... or am I wrong for expecting the opposite?
