Last night at FNM, we had a fairly small turn-out of only 16 people. My friend had gone 3-0, and got paired against me, who had gone 2-1. He asked the employee why he got paired down, and she said it was "just the way it worked; i don't do it, the computer does." After beating me, he went 4-0 and didn't even make Top 4. He asked again why he didn't get at least 4th, and she told him she had just realized his rounds were misrecorded, and there was nothing she could do about it now. My question is, what can be done to solve that? He asked her to double check his record, and was basically told to buzz off, and missed out on prize and points. Not only that, but everyone's pairings were affected because of that. How would you rectify the situation?
