What is the average payouts you have seen?
Post Body

I work for a shop in Texas and we have 2 up coming RCQ events. We hosted one last month and I was notified by the competitive players in my area that the RCQ we hosted didn’t have good enough prize support and that those players are considering just skipping my events entirely because of what they deem to be “not enough prize support for an RCQ”. We are a smaller shop compared to those in our area.

The payout was 2 packs per player divided amongst the top 4 in percentages that made third and fourth get the same amount of packs (4 each), second got 6 and first got 10 along with the invitation. All players received the promos they earned as well.

What do you all think? What is the RCQ prize pool or rates you guys have seen at other RCQ tournaments?

Edit: I believe the entry fee was about $30 Edit: the format was modern and the store did buy the $150 pin set as additional price support, my apologies for leaving this out.
