Best Set for a Collector Booster Box (highest chance to open something valuable)?

First and foremost, I know I should never buy boxes; when I need cards, I buy singles from my LGS! But, I have some extra cash right now, and I’m willing to gamble on buying a collector box.

I know there are tons of very rare (<1% chance) cards out there these days (serialized cards, special universe beyond cards, etc). Since I’m going all-in on buying a box, which set has the best chance for me to open something ultra-rare? Is a recent set better because there are more chances for a serialized card?

Happy to elaborate more if it would help but hoping this is a straightforward question.
