Hello, I have a question for anyone that’s a judge.
How are we supposed to list universes within and universes beyond cards in deck lists?
Mtg rules state cards are limited by their English name.
I played legacy humans at a 1k this weekend and was given a game loss during a deck check in round 5.
My deck list had Rick, Steadfast Leader listed. The card in my deck was Greymond, Avacyns Stalwart.
I listed it as Rick is the original name of the card as printed in English. I’ve played a bunch of legacy humans with Rick before the reprint. Greymond is a UW card and a reprint. As far as I’m aware, Rick is the original card.
If judges are saying this isn’t the card name, can I then play 8 copies 4x Rick 4x greymond?
How do other judges fee in this scenario?
