Black Friday

Tonight my husband and I will watch the last 2 episodes of session 7 of our first watch, but we really enjoyed this show and I'm sure we'll watch it again. I just think Black Friday is an amazing day to finish this show, that has highlighted American consumerism so much. It also makes me curious about what Black Friday was Ike back in the 1960s. Had it become a thing yet? I never heard this day addressed in the show, but I can imagine Pete going, "Black Friday, a thing like that. "
