Before I begin speaking about this random topic I have only watched Mad Men through YouTube clips as well as the fandom website that describes the character development. I can see this show is a masterpiece and a very accurate representation of the 1960s in terms of fashion, social issues and business.

I actually love as a gay man how much representation was given (even though it wasn’t really a happy ending for the majority of gay and lesbian characters).

What I noticed analyzing the characters is that this is a show with a main focus on middle aged men (as well as their wife’s, mistresses, Joan and Peggy) and their problematic life’s in and outside of the office. I know Don (who is the protagonist but also is somewhat an antagonist in ways) is considered handsome and strong. There is also Roger (comic relief) and Pete (kinda a dick who turns bald). While I can value Don as handsome he isn’t really someone who makes my think about an office fantasy of sleeping with him to work my way up.

I think the three best looking male characters are - Bob Benson (handsome in a comforting way and by far the best dressed) - Michael Ginsburg (pretty eyes and kinda depressing which is hot) - Greg Harris (hot military blonde boy)

Maybe my type is Jewish guys and blondes? This is my subjective opinion. Does anyone else feel this way?
