season 6, episode 13, In Care Of. Megan says this to Don when he tells her "we can't go to CA."
I understand Megan being upset, but what I don't understand is why she'd first of all drag Don's kids into the argument and second of all call them "screwed up." is it just because Sally was recently caught with beer?
when you look at Megan's history with Don's kids, it seems mostly positive, save for the one time that Sally was rude to her because Betty had recently told Sally about Anna. are there other sore spots for Megan and the kids? does she actually sort of resent them, or is she just blurting out the first hurtful thing that pops into her head? she apologizes immediately after saying it and she insists she loves them, but I also feel like she wouldn't say they were "screwed up" unless there was a little pre-existing bitterness there. is she just jealous about Don's love for them because she wants more of that love for herself?

Don put a lot of the work of childcare and domesticity on Megan. Considering they were HIS kids, that's pretty messed up. No doubt that caused quite a bit of resentment on her part towards him that she may have projected onto them.
