Post Body

I've been trying to find a job for over two months now, without much luck. I just paid my rent for September, but I don't know if I'll be able to pay rent after that if I don't find something soon. I'm getting the maximum amount of unemployment per week, but I basically never see it because it barely pays for my rent. Everything else just comes out of my pocket.

In the past, I've mostly worked in manufacturing, warehouse, and heavy equipment operation jobs (but I don't have a CDL, fyi). Just wondering if anyone knows of a decent place that's hiring. I seem to always fall into stressful, dangerous jobs that don't provide anything beyond a paycheck - jobs most sane people wouldn't want to do. I've done them because I didn't really have any tangible expertise - just your everyday general laborer. But I'd like to find something that won't cause a lot of stress and anxiety like many of my past jobs. (I realize every job has its good and bad days, but when the bad days far outweigh the good, it really starts to take a toll.) I did just graduate from a graphic design program a little over a month ago, so it would be awesome to do something in that field. There doesn't seem to be a lot of entry level design positions around here, though, and I need to make more than the $12 an hour I would make as an intern. I don't need anything glamorous or fancy or to make a ton of money. I just want something that will provide what I need to live a comfortable life and not have so many occupational hazards that I'm wondering every day whether or not I'll make it home in one piece.

TIA!
