Driftwood question
Post Body

I’m hoping to get some clarity regarding using found driftwood for projects. Is it 100% necessary to soak it and clean it? The wood I have is fully dried out as we had a pile of it for firewood before I discovered I could use it for this! I don’t want to bleach the wood and lose the natural colour of it. I also obviously don’t want to introduce any microorganisms or smelly wood to anyone’s homes. Any tips?
