Mac pro late 2006 doesnt recognize drive.

So im trying to use my old hunk of aluminum as a game server, i did it before using debian as the OS but that was a bit wacky but nonetheless it worked, so now im trying to use a drive with ubuntu server on it but my mac pro late 2006 wont recognize the drive at all. The drive is confirmed working on another computer and boots. The way i made the drive was with the other computer cause my mac wont boot from usb. Any help would be appreciated
