Developers using Mac Mini

Hey all, im working as a developer and have a work macbook pro and was just gifted a mac mini m4 for christmas. As I move over to the mac mini from a windows pcs I was wondering what overall tools or hacks devs using personal macs use to keep some sense of similiar configuration between your work and personal machine? I know iv heard of dot files for terminal config but im curious if theres anything that takes it beyond that. Thanks in advance.
