Following the shutdown of Citra, Public Rooms hosted on the Citra team servers was also taken down. This guide will make you able to refresh the public room list and access public rooms hosted by the community.

Note : This is not online access. The multi-player feature through Citra enables local multi-player like LDN on Ryujinx. You can play games utilize local multi-player.

1. Close Citra completely, make sure the processus is closed in Activity Monitor.

2. Go to the Citra config folder located here " /Users/username/.config/citra-emu"

3. Open qt-config.ini with text editor and search for the term "WebServices" and change the 2 web_api_url lines to the following :

web_api_url\default=false web_api_url=http://88.198.47.46:5000/

1. See screenshot2 to check if you correctly modified the lines. Save your file - Close it and start Citra.

2. Your public room browser should now look like screenshot1 .

3. Enjoy ✌️

Note : I also changed the 2 lines in the qt-config.ini file situated here : /Users/username/.local/share/citra-emu/user/config for any future build that may need this config file instead of the one I listed in setp 2-3

You can also change the 2 lines ( or add the missing line) in the sdl2-config.ini situated in the 2 locations I listed to make sure Citra is always using the newly added API url.

Side note : I was also able to completely clone my n3DS and install it on my Citra client with all my games transferred into Citra, Home Menu compatibility, system apps and Online multi-player through Nintendo's official servers.

This is a more complicated procedure and requires a 3DS with CFW installed and dumping few unique online keys from the console itself. If you guys have the console, I can put up a guide so you can enjoy online multi-player of the 3DS with Citra, higher resolutions and controller support. This is sadly will be possible until April 8th, the day Nintendo will discount the whole 3DS online services.
