Bluetooth Range prob with Magic NS

I have a Magic NS 1. I find that when I get around 3 meters away the signal can stop reaching my Wii U pro controller to work properly even unobstructed .
Also, it won’t work through a wall when my apple mouse does fine.
Is there a way to strengthen the bluetooth signal with another product?
I’m using a 2017 Macbook Pro with Parallels running Windows 10 for this.
But, I also plan to use it for gaming on mac and I was wondering if there was any suggestions.
