Porting Kit. Worth it?

Hi guys. I have a question.

So, I've tried the two most used Mac gaming solutions. I own a Parallels Perpetual License and I've recently tried (and failed miserably) to use the Crossover trial version.

I've been scrolling through this sub reddit and found mentions of a Porting Kit (not apple's, a community thing that seems to work well for dx11?) And have installed it and am currently downloading GTA V to try it out. But since that'll take more than getting a reddit reply, is it worth my effort?
