MacBook Pro - Black Screen
Post Body

Hi everyone!

I had my MacBook Pro connected to my TV via an HDMI cable.

I unplugged the MacBook Pro and I am stuck with a black screen. I can see that the computer is on insofar as caps lock lights up and the Esc key is visible on the Touch Bar (it’s the only thing visible on the Touch Bar).

The only thing that I have managed to do so far is to get to some weird password reset screen (visible only on my TV). I don’t know why I am sometimes sent there on reset.

I have tried various things, including a NVRAM reset, and I’m at a bit of a loss.

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
