MacBook Air 2020 water damage keyboard

Hi! I recently spilled some ramen broth onto my keyboard and my track pack and keyboard no longer work. I took it to the Apple Store today and they’re quoting me £700 to replace the keyboard. He said that the liquid hadn’t gone through to the main components however. Do you think there’s anyway this could dry up on its own and the keyboard work again or is it completely fucked? 🥲
