For anyone that can help, thank you!

Two days ago I was using my laptop as usual (writing papers for school) and suddenly screen went blank. I closed it and opened it back up to find a black screen with question mark. Turned computer off using power button, restarted, and all was fine again.

Yesterday, i used it, no issues at all.

Today, it won’t turn on at all.

Any ideas that maybe I haven’t tried yet? (Have gone through the shift/alt/control while holding power button…no luck).

Side note - I am visiting a foreign country, and the charging cable has been acting strange. It basically doesn’t work right away. Leaving it plugged in overnight, by the time I wake up it has charged the computer and green light is on. Is it possible that this issue is all due to the electrical stuff here causing a malfunction with the cable which then did something to the hard drive?
