Is it normal for tha palm rest of Macbook Pro 2021 14" to get a little hot after an hour or so of use? I

It's my first time to have an MBP and got myself the base model of MBP M1 Pro 2021. Palm rest/the area around the track pad gets warm just after streaming YT videos for an hour. I'm just wondering if this is normal? I have an old Thinkpad that doesn't get hot even when used 24/7.
