My son spilled a drink on my MacBook Pro 2019 edition I believe and it continued to work right after the spill right until the battery died. I read online that it said to leave it open and turn it upside for a few days to dry it out. So I did that and whenever I plug it in to charge and turn it back on the Apple logo will show up when it’s starting up and makes the normal sound and then just completely shuts off.

Is there anyway to get this to work on my own? I don’t have money to get it fixed either. Is there any other keys on the keyboard I can hold down while it powers on to get it to complete the startup?

Has anyone else had this issue and was there anyway to fix it without taking it to Apple?

This spill happened at least two months ago and probably even longer. I haven’t messed with it much just have been letting it sit.
