My current set up includes a 2015 Macbook Pro and a 2018 11-inch iPad Pro. So far I pretty much use my iPad most of the time for everything that I need (Meetings, Email, Streaming, YouTube, watching content etc), and would only really use my Macbook when I need to, typically using Microsoft applications and/or working on my business.
I love my my iPad, its 6 years old now, and been thinking it might be time to upgrade since its getting on a bit now and is due an upgrade, and feel the new M4 iPad has enough new features that justifies the upgrade (Performance, OLED screen, new MK). However, id be looking at a 13 inch now since i think i will just prefer the bigger screen and keyboard and it will give more of a laptop like feel - but at that price point (£1,648) im thinking should i just get a base MBP at £1,600? Although still perfectly functional, my 2015 MBP is definitely getting on a bit more than my iPad.
Looking for advice for anyone who was deciding between iPad or Macbook and the reasons behind what decision they ultimately made.
I know for my use I could probably just get the air instead, but I prefer the Pro models and don’t mind paying the extra money for them.
