13" M2 Macbook Pro wont let me move tabs to the left or right on a window while stage manager is on

Hi everyone, I recently bought my first macbook pro and have had some issues getting it completely working for me. Most recently I set up Stage Manager and I like how it organizes everything but I can't move a tab on a window to the right or left without the stage manager rapidly jumping between every chrome window I have open so it has to end up in a random window in a random spot. If I have SM turned off I can grab and drag the tabs wherever I want with no issue and it's a bit frustrating that I can't use this feature that is otherwise really good without this pitfall. Does anyone know how to fix this?
