I have a 2017 MacBook Pro. Battery is spent and trackpad is acting up. I know the battery itself is $250. Can’t decide whether to put money into my MBP or purchase a new one (M2 or M3). I’m looking at a new MBP 14” 16GB 512SSD. My goal is to future-proof the MBP. In the past, I have kept my MBPs for at least 6 years. Any thoughts would helpful and appreciated. Thanks.
