I recently bought a Macbook pro M2 and wanted to keep it in pristine condition hence the case.
But I've noticed that the display's hinge is loose, and tilting the laptop WITH the case at a 40 degree angle makes the display move backwards. This does not happen without the case. Also, I'm using a thin case on it that does not add too much weight.
I have found little evidence online, just anecdotes from "technicians" who state that the hinge and display problems they encounter are mostly from macbooks with cases. But this might be confounded by the predisposition to buy cases for expensive products and the fact that there are more cases (and accessories) for macs in general.
Hence I wanted to know if anyone here has a similar experience? And do macbook cases ACTUALLY damage the hinge and the display cable by extension? Thanks
