Ok so long story short my MacBook Air screen has not worked in I’d say 4 years. I usually just hook an HDMI up to it to use it when I need to. I’ve taken it the Apple Store and they “confirmed” the display was bad.

Here is my question, the other night I had it hooked up and out of nowhere I see the screen turn on. I thought I was hallucinating, it turned on and looked perfectly fine. I stared at it in disbelief for like 20 minutes. I unplugged the HDMI and it worked for another 20 minutes then went black again. In 4 years I have not seen that screen ever turn back on. Is there something else going on with the Mac? Was just curious if anyone else had some insight.
