Charging Issue with 15" M2 Macbook Air

Post Body

Hello all. I have been having a very minor issue with my 15" M2 MacBook Air and was wondering if anybody else has experienced this problem or found a fix. Whenever I need to charge my MacBook, I need to plug in the MagSafe charger into the computer, take it out, and then plug it again, for it to actually start charging. When plugged in the first time, the battery icon in the menu bar shows a charging symbol, but the power source still says battery. Only when I plug it in for the second time does the MacBook start to actually charge.

I am using the MagSafe cable and compact 35W adapter that came in the box with the MacBook and almost never have another cable plugged in, so I should be getting the full 35W. Thanks all.
