I'm going to be replacing my windows PC with a Macbook and stuck between two options.

M3 Macbook air 16GB 512GB I currently have a multi monitor set up and want to play DRM content on my external monitors so a displaylink hub wont work for me. If I go for the air I will sell both my monitors and buy a 34" ultrawide (I should be able to make up most of the cost of a 1440p ultrawide.)

M3 Pro Macbook Pro 18GB 512GB - this will let me keep my current set up but is an expensive option.

I won't really do much super intensive work on it - mostly web browsing - odd casual game (planning to get a gaming desktop hooked up to a TV for that later) light video editing as my wife wants to start a youtube channel and light music creation as I like to play with my Arturia Minilab 3

I don't think I'll benefit much from the M3 Pro that the extra power is really worth it for my use. But the Macbook Pro screen would be nice to have.

What is everyone's opinion?
