universal control Imac5k 27 vs Mac studio Display

I have a 16 2019 MacBook pro. Ive been out of the apple garden I was wondering since the feature universal control is coming and the price of an old Imac 5k seems a bit cheaper than Mac studio display and I'm getting another computer instead of just another display would be the rational move to buy an imac 5k?
